French food for the day

Coco Pit,a  French designer and graphic artist. Having learned fine arts at Paris, which was known as the city of fashion, it has provided Coco vast of inspiration in designing. She started her design work by experimenting with traditional processes such as painting, drawing and ceramics, before designing the final image digitally. She aims to restraint and minimalism in her every finished works. Every of her splendid works have the intention to let us to use our very own imagination to complete the story she has begun for us.

Eventually i've turn into a Fashion student in NAFA since last month, which was also the starting point of my on going miserable life.

Fashion Illustration is one of the session  which we  have to go through during this semester. The drawings i shown below are one of the scariest part of this session.Face drawing is the one,the perfect lining and portion of feature had really drive me crazy recently, been trying again and again and i finally made something "quite okay" out of the effort.
Hope y'all enjoy my drawings and get inspired after watching 'em!(wink)

Coco Chanel is Back in Dallas!

This time Chanel has set its pre-autumn winter 2014 to a nostalgia maix level of Romantic wild Texas spirit. To rewind the memory of the fashion industry about the importance of America to Coco Chanel's career, Karl has got the show back into Texas,Dallas , which was the place when Coco was panned by the French but embraced in the US in 1954, the godmother of fashion then started her career in Dallas.

Stage in the City's fair park, Dallas event kicked off with a 1950s-style drive-in and the premiere of Lagerfeld’s film The Return. Starring Geraldine Chaplin as Gabrielle Chanel.
When the shows started, models wearing luxe collection of denim jeans, feathered headdresses, fringed leather trousers, prairie dresses and bolo ties stream onto the runway stage, Chanel again mesmerised the audience while it showcased their American-western inspired collections in various awesome ways with different elements, these are the efforts which the other designers couldn't really do but Karl did.

After the end of the shows, guests like Kristen Stewart ,Poppy Delevinge taking selcas at the backstage and some of the others  had tried on the mechanical bull ride session, the shows ended up in a berry merry  atmosphere, which also turned Chanel into another higher range of classic.

And I have created the very first mood board of my life using photoshop skills as an inspiration adapt after watching the ever brilliant Chanel's Metiers d'Art Show Dallas.
Karl is definitely da genius!

MMM couture

'At a time when individuality counts for so much in the fashion industry, Maison Martin Margiela's percepts seem more relevant than ever.'-Tim Blanks
This morning in Paris the house Maison Martin Margiela presented its Artisanal collection, which is a combination of skilled work with comparatively little reliance on machinery.  Again and again  , Maison Martin Margiela throws another huge bomb onto the fashion industry, while taking on the couture week.
With incredibly-amazing works on hand, Maison Martin Margiela  din't disappoint those who sitting down there, the collections are incredibly stunning and mesmerising, while injecting with their signature quirky styles. The brilliant tattoo motif beaded embroidery tops and  the big eye-looking hair made hand accessory  had become the highlights of the whole show, which successfully showed the originality and daring creativity in Maison Martin Margiela haute couture . I am so obessed with the collections as  they are way too adorable! Seriously need to grab one of them and display it in my wardrobe even if I knew I won't have the chance to wear it here cause I will be seen as a freak and pointed by people along the street.
I bet y'all know Fashion is something  kinda dangerous, especially when you have a dangerously high level of fashion sense which the others cannot understand.(sigh)
Anyway, in just a few short seasons Maison Martin Margiela has  given the haute couture calendar some much needed vigor, hope to see more surprising collection from it in the future and I just can't wait to be inspired again!(wink)
